Anastasia Beverly Hills Lavish Palette Review
Hi guys, today's review is on the Anastasia Lavish Set, it's from the famous and raved about Anastasiabeverlyhills lady who is very famous for her brow wiz products
and it's a definitely a delight to review her product. The palette kit is very compact, with a very unique packaging (jungle effect print), a cute cardborad box (like a gift box) with deep depth and removable sleeve top underneath.
This Lavish set includes ten eyeshadows, eyebrow pencil, black eyeliner pencil, a dual ended brush and a full size tweezers. It also comes with a booklet displaying different looks with step by step guide that one can easily recreate and a full on size mirror, it is perfect for travelling to keep you in style.
The eyeshadows are super pretty with the right amount of frost and shimmer (not too over powering). They applied smooth and blended easily, the set has a mixture of matte and shimmer although the matte shades have a bit of powder finish to them, they still deliver because they are nicely pigmented and are also very soft without a single fall out during application. The lasting power is great as well, without primer 5-6 hrs and with primer, it lasted the whole day on me until i took it off. I love almost all the shades as they give a very flawless natural effect to the eyes, my camera didn't pick the names of the shade properly so i'll just name them below-
Cream
Sienna
Orange Soda
Ballet
Moss
Rum Cake
Black Diamond
Truffle
Antique
Pink Sapphire
Inside the palette is another set of tool to complete any look
A Full Size Tweezer
A Mini Brow Pencil
A Blending Brush
A Covet Eyeliner Pencil
I absolutely adore this kit, it has everything a makeup addict would need with neutrals and bold colours for a day to night routine. It's value for money too as you get the whole kit for £26, a fraction of the value price of $118 as the tweezers alone cost $38. i also got the Covet Eye Kit and i haven't tested them out yet hence no review on them but as soon as i try them out, i'll do a review soonest. I'm really happy i have this palette and strongly recommend it, it really is a Lavish kit/set for Christmas. Toodles, xoxo bynki

GB Nov Box 2013
My Glossy box arrived last week but i've been so busy, i have'nt had time to really review them yet. This is just a quick run down of what's inside this month and i can tell you that i am loving every single one of the items. As usual it comes in a beautifully packed box with black tissue wrap and pink ribbon (Ooh how i love the way it's packed, so feminine and chic), the glossy magazine and product detail card.
Inside the box this month is the following products
A Three pack Idealia Life Serum skincare samples from Vichy
Yves Rocher France cacao and pistachio hand cream
Emite Micronized Eyeshadow in dams
Jelly Pong Pong lip blush in cool red/berry colour
Elegant Touch rapid dry for nails.
This month's box is more like it, better than the Oct box and everything inside looks promising to me as i will be using and testing them all because they are winter essentials to keep skin hydrated and soft in this cold weather. I did use the eyeshadow the same day and i was really impressed, never heard of the Emite brand before but i sure will be checking out more of their products. I also used the handcream because i love my handcreams (i can never have too many) especially at this time of the year, this one smells great too like nuts(i will be doing a review specially for this one). I like the fact that the selections for the box are everygirl's everyday products that one can actually use. I hear the Dec box is in collaboration with Maybelline so am really looking forward to that, hope it impresses me. The total box value is £36.09 and i think GB looks promising so i'll still be subscribing. Have a great week everyone and thanks for stopping by, Toodles. xoxo bynki
Mac's Divine Night Holiday Collection
Hi guys, today's review is on another holiday collection from Mac, it's a mineralize skinfinish powder from their 2013 Divine Night Collection and it's called Perfectly Poised. Other colours in the mineralize skinfinsh range are Centre of attention (a pastel pink with pink shimmer) and Scene to be seen (a mauve pink sheen with brick rose gold)
It's a beautiful frosty powder with two colours in one that you can mix together or apply individually, i love this particular powder so much because it's so milled and smooth. Personally this is most pigmented of the whole collection skinfinish as the other colours are quite flacky and chalky.
A lovely bronzed coral colour with golden tones glitters, and a creamy beige with pinkish purple sheen, it feels very warm on my skintone and blends beautifully well too with just a hit of drama, this shade is so pretty and the texture is so refined to highlight imperfections. It did last me the whole day when i used it probably because i had a matte foundation on but it typically last for around 6-7 hrs before it starts to fade, it comes in the regular mac packaging.
Other frostiness in the Divine Night Collection include Mineralize Blush, Mineralise Eyeshadows, Cremesheen Glasses, Lipsticks and Fluidlines. They will make a perfect christmas gift for yourself or to friends and family. How's your Christmas shopping going?? Enjoy your sunday, xoxo bynki

Zuca Artist Backpack
I am so excited about my new Zuca Artist Backpack, it's being on my wishlist for awhile now and u can imagine how happy i am to own it now. I got the backpack one because it's alot cheaper and i can toss it on my back and am set to go. The zuca collection also has another bag called the Zuca Pro Artist Traincase, which is bigger and more expensive than this backpack one, it has a bigger organisation and luggage wheel for easy travel and you can even sit on top. This bag helps me carry all my products and tools and keeps everything super organised, It comes with three clear utility pouches, i like this pouches so much because of the clear top and the label which allows me to see what i have inside.
The bag is sturdy and very light at the same time, it has plenty of side pockets space inside and outsidewith zipper which i mainly use to keep my tools, brushes, bottles, spray, wipes etc. The shoulder straps are so padded, i don't feel any pain when i carry it even for a long period of time. I don't worry about liquid and cream products spilling because the bag is so sturdy and well made, everything inside is safe. I did save to get this bag because the price is a bit hefty at £132, but it's definitely worth it as it is one of my best purchases i have made so far regarding kit and organisation, it looks and feels professional and you can be rest assured that it will last you for a very long time. Zuca.com says it's a bag for hairstylists but i think it serves makeup artist as well. Everyone pro makeup artist i know and look up to owns this backpack and they all say it's worth it and i say same too! Have a great day guys, Toodles. xoxo bynki

RC Kabuki Brush Set Review
I finally got my hands on another talked about brush in makeup world, A four piece kabuki brush set from RC-Comestics, it's a supposed dupe for the popular Sigma kabuki brush set. Almost every review i have seen about this brush says it's even better than the sigma set and the most interesting part is the price, it's $38.95 for the set but currently on sale for $19.95 from the royal care website. The price was too good to be true, i had to jump on the band wagon and i ordered the four piece kabuki set and the four piece eye set in gold details, (it has the set in black detail too), i ordered the brush holder case as well. I have started using them and can now do my own review on them especially because the rave for this brush is mainly centered amongst the American market than here in the UK
Let me start by saying OMG, these brushes are amazing! The face set has four brushes
Pointed kabuki foundation brush
Small kabuki round dome brush
Angled kabubki brush
Flat top kabuki brush
The flat top kabuki brush is the most popular as it has been compared by many to the sigma F80 brush, in my opinion, this one beats sigma hands down. I used it for my liquid foundation and it gave me a flawless finish with very little product, i was abit skeptical but these brushes performed excellently well. They are super soft and very dense, i still can't believe the price for this very quality brush. They look and feel sturdy and the details are intact, i have washed them twice already and no shedding, i was expecting some kind of shedding since i knew there weren't high end brush but they proved me wrong and i can very well say that i am overly impressed and shout out to RC COMESTICS for providing us with high quality brush without the hefty price attached to quality brushes from high end brand. These brushes are perfect because i put them to test for different use just to see if they can serve other purpose other than their suppose use and they delivered.
I also got this leather case brush holder to store the brushes, they look very well made and not cheap at all, you can open them in two to store your brushes at home or pin them together to hold and store your brushes for when you are travelling, they can hold up to 10 brushes. Honestly this case is more than what i expected and i am very happy with it.
In conclusion these brushes are very good, they are really soft and have the same look and quality as sigma, they are feel perfect to the skin, blend very well and are inexpensive. The brand also carry other professional makeup products for the eyes, lips, cheek and face, totally great quality brushes from my personal experience and i will be purchasing more of their products because you really do get good quality for a low price! Toodles. xoxo bynki

Urban Deacy Vice2 Holiday Collection
Hi guys my review today is on one of the most wanted holiday palettes, it's from Urban Decay and it's called Vice2, it recently launched and i am pleased to have one as i have wanted a bright colour palette for a while now. The packaging for this palette first sold me out, it's a simple purple plastic case with a sleek crystal UD details embossed in the middle, it's very sturdy and the inside has a very large mirror when you open it, also inside is a two sided blending brush, i really like the design, it's uber chic. It has the most beautiful bright shades and will cater to mostly smokey eye looks and to people who like their makeup really loud, when i swatched this shades at the ud counter, they were so smooth and velvety i knew i was getting myself a great product.
The palette contains 20 lovely eyeshadows, all new shades from urban decay, i tell u this shadows are brilliant, they blend effortlessly and have great pigmentation, to me urban decay are simply the best when it comes to eyeshadows. Most of the shades have shimmer and satin texture with only two matte colours inside the palette. My only issue with this palette is the amount of fall outs you get when you apply the shadows and also you will need another palette to get a complete look but overall, it's a really lovely palette to have. The quality is so good, i can't even front, they apply like butter and are smooth and creamy at the same time, i don't have a favourite shade at all because i love every single one of them. The colours are bold and can cause quite a scare for people who like neutrals but trust me when i say the colours become cool toned once on your lid, i do recommend this palette as you will not be dissappointed. The quality and price is amazing, Please keep checking back for more holiday gift guides and reviews. Have a happy weekend, xoxo bynki

Nars Killing Me Softly Holiday Palette
This is Nars Killing Me Softly cheek palette from their 2013 hoilday collection, it's a beautiful palette filled with Nars most popular shades. Nars is one of my favourite makeup brands and their products are always top notch although quite pricey, they are well worth it, This holiday collection also features a second palette called Adult Content which i think is more suitable to cooler skintones.
It contains four colours with three blushes and one highlight, Gilda, Albatross, Orgasm and Outlaw. All shades are very pigmented and are also permanent in their regular line. I love to use these blushes as they give a beautiful glow and are not too shimmery, they blend very well and be rest assured you are getting the best.
This is a limited edition palette and as it features their best selling shades, it will fly off the shelves so if you are a Nars fan, hurry up and get yours as this palette is very practical and will suit your every need. I hope my Holiday guide so far is helping you prepare your Christmas shopping list for yourself, friends and family. I also want to advise that you get these beauty holiday collections fast because they are limited edition and will sell out quickly especially as their prices are reasonable. There are so many wonderful collections out there but the ones that i am reviewing are the ones that i like and know that the quality is perfect and the price suits my wallet, so feel free to choose what suits you best. You can get this palette at Nars counter or online, have a wonderful day. xoxo bynki

Mac Zoom Fast Lash & Skin Base Visage
I received these two samples above from Mac, they are the new Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara and the Prep+Prime Skin Base Visage. I used both of them and i am very impressed, especially with the macara, Mac mascara are usually rubbish in my opinion but this has changed my mind, just one coat with very light stroke lifted my lashes and seperated them, the colour too was very black, very intense, it added volume and it's waterproof so no fear of smudging. The skin visage is a face primer to create a smooth base for foundation, it has tiny micro shimmer in it and is white in texture, it made my skin smooth and did make my foundation last longer. Am kind of on the fence with this product because of the shimmer in it, i have oily skin and don't want anything with shine or shimmer as a base before makeup, that said, it's still a great product and i really recommend it to dry and combination skin. I totally approve both products and see myself purchasing them in full size. What is your favourite mascara and primer? Toodles, xoxo bynki

Mac's Lustre Drops
This is the awesome Mac lustre drops and am i glad to have it! I used this drop all through summer and still using it this winter as well although it's more pratical to use during summer, but Hey i just love the glow it gives and can't limit myself to using it only in summer. It's a liquid shimmering sun highlighter and can be used for many things, i use them on brides as well because there are so dope and make me look so radiant!
It's slightly thick in rich golden texture but sheers out once applied, it's a very easy product to work with and i like to mix it with moisturizer or foundation to give an instant glow and glamourous look or use it to highlight my cheekbone / other areas to create a luminous finish, this product has many multipurpose use. It comes in a small petite bottle with a tiny nozzle to dot the drops, a little goes a long way and it can last you a long time. It comes in three shades Sun Rush, Pink Rebel and LE Barbados Girl, i love this product so much ,i even use it during winter. How are you guys preparing for Christmas? Shopping list sorted? well my beauty gift goodies are still coming and i will be posting details to help you find the perfect gift. Have a wonderful week, xoxo bynki

Laura Mercier Holiday Mini Lip Glace
Every year Brands creates limited edition collections for the holidays and this year is no exception, So many to choose from, am going crazy! This is a lip gloss set from Laura Mercier that i've had my eyes on for a while now, they are lip glosses tube that you can keep for yourself or share out individually as gift to friends at Christmas. They come in mini tubes with convenient applicator.
There are five portable glosses and each has a unique touch as the colours are gorgeous and very pretty packed with pigment. When i applied them to my lips, they went on smooth and the shine was just the perfect amount. The perfomance was great as well as they lasted between 4-5 hours on me, they smell so lovely and my lips were plumped all through the day, they were non sticky and did not dry out too.
They contain healthy ingredients that boost antioxidant and i am really happy with them as i love every single one of them, the colour shade for this set include Rose, Violet, After hours, Bare beige and Sparkling (shimmering peach, pale pink and dusty mauve for a subtle, more demure look). They are limited edition christmas gift and come in two sets, the Soft Nude colour set and the Rich Berry colour set

Mac Holiday Collection Gift Set 2013
The Holiday season is here and almost every makeup brands are coming out with their Christmas holiday gift set which i am so excited about. I got my hands on quite a few and this is one of them, Mac Mineralize Brush Set from their stroke of midnight collection.
It contains four Mac fiber brushes for the face/eye and a carry purse to store the brushes when travelling, this set is one of the several new brush set they realeased amongst other set. The colour combination is very pretty and very me as i like black and white cordinated colours, the brushes have both colours featured on them with a gold circle accent between the black and white handle, the brush bag has pretty much the same colour theme and it's nice enough to carry as a night out bag if you want to. Now unto the brushes, there are four mini duo fiber brushes in the set
187 duo fiber face brush
159 duo fiber blush brush
286 duo fiber tapered blending brush for eye
287 duo fiber eyeshadow brush
The duo fiber brushes from Mac are one of the most popular from their range and they are very good because they pick up very little products and they also blend effortlessly
They are very light weight too and feel super soft which is a good thing, i don't own many Mac brushes simply because of the price, i feel like they are too expensive although i know they are the best and can last you well over 12 years if you care for them properly so you can imagine my excitement when i saw this set from their holiday gift, i knew i had to get one especially because the price was so affordable.
They look and feel sturdy enough just like the full sized ones and feel firm to the hands, the only thing am not too sure about is the size. Yes i know there are mini brushes but i wasn't expecting it this small maybe because this is my first time buying their gift set brushes, although they feel firm like i said, they are just too small for my hand and for me to work with but i guess for the price, it's quite a massive bargain so no complain.
So far, they haven't shed one bit and i do think it is a fanstatic set especially for those that like duo fiber brushes. It's a must have for makeup artist for themselves or a makeup lover or even as a gift to friends/family as you get four brushes for a mere £42 compared to their permanent collection which starts from £27 per brush. Overall i am very happy and do recommend it to those (like me) trying to get their hands on Mac brushes without paying the expensive price. I love Mac brushes and hopefully with time, i will build up my entire work kit with their brushes. This set and other set from their Christmas collection is available now at Mac counters and online, if you want one, buy them now before they sell out and Yes they will sell out because they are limited editions. Have a great week everyone and Thanks for stopping by. xoxo bynki
